The one and only good sunset we had in Acadia National Park last week we photographed in a beaver pond! I know, not the usual sunset location but the light was really nice and the longer we lingered the prettier the scene became.


Here is a sequence of beaver pond sunset shots covering 15 minutes of changing light. The changing lily pads and reed patterns are because I was moving along the bank as the clouds crossed the sky trying to get the best possible angle. All these pics were shot heard held with my new Nikon Coolpix 9900s.
